If you marry in St Andrews in the Jewish tartan, do give my mother,Flora Selwyn, a call. She publishes the local magazine, St Andrews in Focus and would love to have a photo or do an interview with someone marrying in the same tartan her son chose for his wedding in Poland! (see below).email

Delighted you're back! I got married in your beautiful tartan in 2009. A Jew marrying in a catholic church in a kilt in Zakopane, Poland, is not an everyday occurrence and with our procession of 18 horse drawn carriages made a splendid sight for the locals. We discovered, quite incidentally, during our wedding reparations, that my late grandfather was born in the hometown of my wife, Tarnow, near Krakow, so my Polish roots did give some legitimacy to the event.

Glad to see you are back. We are planning a wedding at St Andrew's and had our hearts set on the tartan.

I received a beautiful scarf today. They were out of some items and offered a refund for those.
